Questions & Answers

Who are you?

We are a group of six qualified and independent Polish translators who designed this site to promote their fast and accurate services online. Three of us live in Poland; the remaining three are permanent US residents. Our team was carefully selected because each translator is an expert in his or her field: general, economic, legal, genealogical, and medical.

What is your location?

We currently have two locations: in Chicago, IL, USA and in Wroclaw, Poland.

What is your average turnaround time?

Our turnaround time depends on the current workload and complexity of the document. Each of us is capable of translating of up to 2,000-3,000 words a day; rest assured, you can rely on us when you need an urgent translation.

Do you also offer transcription and voice-over services into Polish?

Yes, we have experience in transcriptions and voice-overs and can accommodate your custom needs, including subtitling or commercial voice recording. In addition, we can localize all kinds of web pages.

Have you done a major translation work for any well-known clients?

Yes, our list of clients includes major corporations like United Airlines, Heinz, LOT, and others. We have also cooperated with established English-Polish translation agencies whose clients are known worldwide. References are available upon request.

What are your rates?

Dealing directly with translators like us, you save time and money. We charge on a per word basis. Our fees are final and include everything stated in the inquiry. If need be, we will review your documents for free (it happens rarely). Contact us for the best quality at the lowest rates.

Do you require a prepayment?

Yes, we do require a prepayment (usually at least 50% for established clients and 100% for new clients). We learned it the hard way and cannot afford to wait for months or years to be paid, so this is our initial requirement. In return, you can be assured that we will deliver the best translation using your specific instructions on time.

Is it better to deal with a translator living permanently in Poland or in the US?

That depends on the text to be translated. If the document requires English to Polish translation and is highly specialized, it's better to use a translator who lives in Poland because s/he may be more familiar with the specific Polish vocabulary. Conversely, when the text is highly specialized and requires a thorough knowledge of the English language, it's usually better to hire a translator who lives in the US and has everyday contact with English.

I have a really urgent document that had to be translated "for yesterday." Can you help?

Yes, we are usually able to assist you with any kind of translation, regardless the deadline. For urgent translation, though, there is an additional fee which can be up to 50% of the standard rate. We are available 24/7 online, so you can be sure we will respond to your inquiry quickly.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for our services using a credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover), PayPal, bank transfer, Western Union, or money order. All online transactions (credit card or PayPal) are done in real time, so we can start the translation the same hour you pay.

Do you offer refunds?

No, we cannot offer any refunds. We provide a custom service that cannot be further resold. However, if you are not satisfied with the final product, we will review it for no additional cost.
